An outdoor art class for children will be offered this summer at the Cibolo Nature Center.

Session I: June 11-15

Ages 6, 7 & 8

Session II: June 25-29

Ages 9 through 12

Hours are from 9 until noon.

Class emphasis will be on exploring art and capturing nature in pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, and watercolor. Personal expression and creativity will be encouraged as the students learn new techniques.

The instructor, Dorothy Thompson, is formerly a certified public school art teacher and instructor at the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Kerrville.

Tuition is $85 for members and $95 for non-members. The fee includes art supplies. Class size is limited to 12.
