Art In The Park will celebrate its fourth season at the Cibolo Nature Center, May 19, 9am - noon. The goal of this annual event is to bring families together to excercise creativity in a beautiful natural setting.

By focusing on a variety of hands-on projects, adults and children work at playing together. Play is a vital part of the human experience, regardless of age. Local professional artists lend a hand to make the experience really special: Sidney Sinclair leads in watercolor, paint flower pots with Sandra Canavan, watch Jay Hester deftly bring the canvas to life with his plein aire painting demo, and more. Dance, music, martial arts, storytelling - there’s something for everyone to cut loose and experiment with. The seniors from Morningside Ministries even join in the fun with their magical fairy houses. This year we are setting an important goal to reach out to children and families in need.
